Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 8th from 10am-3pm for a day of fun for the whole family! Tabernacle Farm Pet Boarding will be hosting a Fall Farm Day to benefit Sandy Wayne Sanctuary of Hope, which provides a safe home for special needs and senior/hospice animals in Brent. Admission is free for the whole day, but donations are welcomed.

Operated by Reba and Tommy Morse, Sandy Wayne Sanctuary of Hope exists to provide a safe home for surrendered or abandoned animals with special needs, who are of senior age, or are in need of hospice level care. At this event, each vendor will donate items or purchase something from the Sanctuary’s wish list in lieu of paying a vendor fee. Running solely on donations, the Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit operation. They will also have a booth on Fall Farm Day where you can stop by and learn more about the good work that they do for the animals of our community as well as some of their outstanding needs that either you or someone you know could possibly help them with. Having a few items to sell themselves such as a quilt, a pet gift basket, as well as a few other handmade items, all money they receive will go directly towards the Sanctuary’s needs.
